We collect personal and booking information necessary to provide our taxi marketplace services:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, mobile phone number, profile photo, and password hash when you create an account.
  • Identity & Partner Verification Data: Verification documents (e.g. driving license, vehicle registration, company details, Aadhaar last 4 digits) for drivers and fleet operators.
  • Booking Information: Pickup location, drop destination, pickup date, time, vehicle preferences, distance estimates, and special trip notes.
  • Device & Technical Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and session tokens for security and spam prevention.

2. Payment Security & Third-Party Gateways

🔒 Important Payment Security Guarantee: Cablocab NEVER stores or handles sensitive payment credentials on our servers. We do not store card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, net banking passwords, or payment authorization tokens.

All online payment processing (including credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, and wallet transactions) is handled directly by third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay) that are certified under PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

We only receive transaction status confirmations, payment reference IDs, and payment amounts necessary to verify your booking status.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and maintain user accounts for travelers, agents, cab owners, and drivers.
  • To process and display trip requirement postings on the marketplace.
  • To facilitate communication between booking owners and accepted operators via in-app chat.
  • To send transactional notifications, ride status updates, and customer support communications.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, unauthorized account access, and security vulnerabilities.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion Request

We retain your personal and booking records for as long as your account remains active or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Account Deletion Request: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. To request account deletion:

  • Email our privacy team at support@example.com with subject line "Account Deletion Request".
  • Include your registered mobile phone number and account email address.
  • Our support team will process your request within 7 business days after verifying ownership.
